Emergency First Aid at Work Course

 

Accredited 1-Day First Aid Training

Learn essential life-saving skills with our Emergency First Aid at Work course, delivered by our expert instructors. This accredited 1-day training is ideal for workplaces, schools, colleges, and outdoor education providers seeking to meet Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements.

Who Should Attend?

This course is suitable for:

  • Employees designated as workplace first aiders
  • Teachers, tutors, and educational visit leaders
  • Outdoor activity providers
  • Anyone seeking a recognised first aid qualification

Course Content

Our Emergency First Aid at Work course covers:

  • Assessments of situation and casualty
  • Airway, breathing and circulation assessments, including emergency resuscitation
  • Safe airway position
  • Dealing with choking
  • Treatment of severe bleeding and shock

Training is interactive and hands-on, ensuring participants gain confidence and competence in responding to real-life emergencies.

Certification

Courses are accredited by Immediate Temporary Care First Aid Ltd (ITC) who are regulated by Ofqual and the SQA.

Cost

  • £80.00 per person

Bespoke Courses

We currently have no open courses planned but offer bespoke courses to groups of 6 or more people, either here at Thornbridge Outdoors or at a venue of your choice.
