13th October 2021 We had a brilliant weekend. Lots of interesting activities to try whether a novice or pro, young or older. Well laid out.Good shower and toilet facilities. Feels safe, children can play freely. Beautiful location by the Monsal trail.

We had our anniversary get-together (30 members) and stay with a great Monsal trail walk in November 2017. It was a great stay and the accomodation satisfied all our needs. The administrative staff (Helen and Jill) were very helpful and understood our needs. Ian, the walking guide, clearly guided us with our needs for the walking activity. In summary, the staff were very helpful, the accomodation was great and we had one of the happiest times! Thanks. Thanthullu Vasu

24th September 2017 I loved the place. Great location. The accommodation was very clean and big enough for a large group. Wonderful facilities on site and walking grounds. The Thornbridge hall accross the road is beatiful area to walk and explore. The nearby village of Ashford is beautiful for a leisurely walk. Will recommend to friends. Shoaib Haider

3rd February 2017 Excellent spot for a group of friends to gather. We were a mixed group of family and friends of all ages. Facilities are perfect and location is really good for walking biking climbing and general outdoor messing about. Nice biking areas on site and a little bouldering wall. I left a heart rate monitor behind which they very kindly and promptly posted back to me. Couldn't recommend enough. Daniel Short

honestly i couldnt believe the fact that the mattress was so hard i woke up on a rock.!??? unfortunately i got chased away from the facility by a grown adult which shattered my heart as i was running as fast as ever. my organs could NOT take tjat and considering i had to go back to the room to a rock. it was horror ??? my mummy said there was evil spirits outside because of the lack of street lamps and i could have fell in a hole.. there was no parking and STOP BRINGING OFF BRAND MILK FROM ALDI ITS NOT GOOD FOR MY TUMMY because of THIS i have crippling depression due to the excessive diarrhoea .. uh oh…i am confused and started seeing two birds outside !???????!;!;!;!;! i was just curious

19th August 2024Wonderful outdoor activity centre in beautiful grounds. Great place to hold residentials (activities include: high and low ropes, cargo netting, biking, weasling, camp fire amd might line) and attend EVC training. Incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff.

8th December 2022Came here as part of a corporate away day for team building activities. Ed was really thoughtful and made sure that the tasks were fully inclusive for all abilities. The facilities were fantastic, the staff were all very friendly and the setting was simply stunning. I was very apprehensive about tasks being too physical as I have a bad back, however, I needn’t have worried. I was very impressed with the set up and look forward to being able to come again. Siri sadly took me to completely the wrong location though so I’d recommend Google maps as this was spot on.
