These 1 day (6 hour) courses may be required by employers as part of meeting their requirements under their first aid risk assessment or schools for educational visit leaders (depending on their guidelines).
The aims of the course are to enable you to recognise when someone has a medical emergency and be able to immediately give the appropriate assistance at first aid level in an urban setting.
