Bell Tent Village

Our Bell Tent Village provides a camping experience with a difference, consisting of 9 bell tents each sleeping roughly 6 children or 5 adults.  You can bring additional tents if there are more of you.

Midweek, term time, the Bell Tent Village is typically used by school pupils on residential visits to the centre.

At weekends and during the school holidays the Bell Tent Village can be booked on its own, or alongside some or all of our indoor accommodation, to enable groups to come and make the most of our fantastic centre and location.

Guests need to bring their own sleeping mat, pillow and sleeping bag.

Please note that no dogs are allowed on site (except for assistance dogs).

Base Camp

The Base Camp building room sits next to the Bell Tent Village and has:

  • a fully equipped kitchen with commercial dishwasher, microwave, fridge, grill, large catering cooker and an additional table top oven
  • a pantry which contains a chest freezer
  • the Base Camp dining room which can seat up to 60 comfortably
  • outdoor picnic benches
  • toilets and showers (please note that the toilets are also used by other centre guests)
  • outside sinks

Wi-Fi is available in the Base Camp and reaches most of the bell tents.

Availability

Our bell tents are pitched in April and taken down in early October.
