New for 2025 is our Meadow Camping!
Thanks to Department for Environment & Rural Affairs Farming in Protected Landscapes and Sheffield City Council funding we have invested in new facilities to enable more groups to camp in different areas of our site. We are excited as this will enable the centre to be used more by Duke of Edinburgh Award groups, uniformed organisations and, at set times, small groups and families.
Facilities
- 4 toilet cubicles
- 4 shower cubicles
- Pot washing sink
- Recycling and waste bins
- Parking (please note that this may not be adjacent to where you are camping and available locations depend on the weather)
Access to and use of the wider centre facilities is not included and Meadow Camping groups are expected to be offsite for most of the day exploring the area. If you are looking to use other facilities at the centre please contact us prior to booking to discuss.
For Duke of Edinburgh groups typically arrival onsite should be after 3pm and departure by 9.30am.
Supervision
All groups, including Duke of Edinburgh groups, must have sufficient responsible adults supervising them, including by camping onsite overnight.
Supervising adults of Duke of Edinburgh groups are free of charge (1 adult per ~6 participants) and we have plenty of space so they can camp separately to their group.
Availability
We plan to have the facilities available from April – October inclusive to support up to 80 campers at any one time.
Small groups may share a field whereas larger groups may be able to book sole use of their own area.
Please note that no dogs are allowed on site (except for assistance dogs).

Prices
- Adults: £15 (inc VAT) per person per night
- 14-18 year olds: £10 (inc VAT) per person per night
- 5-13 year olds: £7.50 (inc VAT) per person per night
- Under 5s: Free
